Sources in Egyptian intelligence revealed plans by the Muslim Brotherhood and a jihadist group in Sinai to spread chaos in Egypt and conduct terrorist attack that coincide with the trial of ousted president Mohamed Morsy scheduled on Monday.
Plans also included attacking security forces to clash with them and claim they attack peaceful demonstrators.
Sources added that German intelligence monitored a telephone conversation between Morsy and Ayman al-Zawahiri , al-Qaeda leader, which is likely to be another spying case against Morsy.
It’s worth mentioning that special forces are responsible for securing Morsy’s trial.
