Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh, former leader of the Muslim Brotherhood criticized Pope Tawadros and Dr. Ahemd al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, for supporting June 30 uprising. He accused the army of conducting massacres against the peaceful demonstrators of Rabaa Adawia and Nahda after what he called a “bloody military coup”.
Abul Fotouh added that he is going to run in the upcoming presidential elections.
