Egyptian popular delegation traveled to Russia today for a three-day visit aiming to strengthening Egyptian-Russian relations and discuss ways of cooperation between the two countries. The delegation also thanks the Russian government for supporting Egypt after the revolution of June 30.

It consists of representers of Al-Azhar and the Church as well as media personals, former MPs and politicians.
The delegation is going to meet with senior Russian officials as well as members of parliament and will visit the Kremlin.
Ahmed Fadaly, General Coordinator of the National Independence Movement, said that the “unofficial delegation” aims to “convey the voice of the people of Egypt and to express appreciation for the Russian government’s support for the revolution.”
