CAIRO: The April 6 Youth Movement issued a letter of apology to Damietta’s Security Director for their demonstration last Thursday, in which two students were arrested, a security source told Youm7.
The source stated that Minister of Interior Mohamed Ibrahim ordered Damietta’s Security Director to accept the April 6 Movement’s apology for the sake of the two students who were arrested during the demonstration.
A group of April 6 members had organized a protest in front of a police station in Damietta on Thursday, chanting against police forces.
The protest angered locals, who then dispersed the demonstrations, and handed the two students, aged 16 and 17, over to the police station.
