Investigations: Mohamed Mahmoud fatalities are Brotherhood sympathizers

Investigations revealed that the two people who were killed on the two-year anniversary of the Mohamed Mahmoud street clashes on Tuesday were reportedly both sympathizers of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The victims were Abdel Maboud, son of Brotherhood figure Magdi Ahmed, who was the office manager of former Freedom and Justice Party MP Hazem Farouk in whose flat the security forces found Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie, and Mahmoud Abdel Halim Hussein Mahmoud, a 23-year-old student who had participated in several events organized by the Brotherhood.

Clashes erupted between supporters of Defense Minister Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and protesters in Tahrir Square, injuring 40 people.

Four others were arrested in the vicinity of the Interior Ministry in possession of shotguns and explosives.
