CAIRO: National Alliance to Support Legitimacy leader and Independence Party general secretary Magdy Qorqor said in a statement to Youm7 that the alliance has called for protests on Sunday, not the Muslim Brotherhood.
“The demonstrations on Sunday will have a different form and nature and will have more crowds than the past days, if we became a minority do not mind us,” he said.
Qorqor said they will protest at Rabaa al-Adaweya and Nahda Square on Sunday to mark 100 days since the violent dispersal of pro-Mohamed Morsi sit-ins at these locations.
He called for committing to peaceful protests and avoiding confrontations with security forces.
