DAMANHUR: A Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leader and his son were arrested Wednesday in one of Beheira governorate’s towns carrying in his possession publications praising the Palestinian Hamas movement.
Papers carrying anti-police and army slogans along with 42 laptops were also found with them.
Security forces are carrying out a nationwide campaign to track down MB leaders and their loyalists who are believed to be behind a series of violent acts occurring in the country since the army deposed president Mohamed Morsi after mass protests in July.
