CAIRO: Peaceful demonstrations should not be dispersed violently, said Hasan Shahin, member of Tamarod movement political office in a phone call to Tahrir satellite channel.
Shahin, who was recorded in a video posted on Youm7 being beaten by crowds following demonstrations outside the Shura Council on Tuesday , assured that the only target for Tamarod is making the roadmap succeed, and the unity of Egyptian people.
Shahin added that demonstration law is “important” and it “should be applied to everybody.” He said that those who violate the law should be prosecuted according to the law, but expressed his regret that the police arrested a group of girls and threw them is the desert, since this “increased agitation towards the police.”
