CAIRO: The judge investigating the Wadi Natroun prison break has denied news of a complementary probe with ousted President Mohamed Morsi.
A number of newspapers reported Wednesday that Counselor Hassan Samir had moved to Borg el-Arab prison yesterday to quiz Morsi about the incident of storming Wadi Natroun during the January 25 Revolution.
The papers also said that Samir decided to extend the provisional detention of Morsi, something the judge also denied.
The counselor told MENA the news is totally baseless, stressing he had not moved to Borg el-Arab or any other prison over the past days.
