Bishop of the Chaldean Church in Babylon called the Oriental Churches to issue a joint statement addressed to the Muslims in the Middle East demanding them to support freedom of belief.
He warned against the forced displacement of the Christian minorities by fanatics who think the Christians are but stumbling block before the Islamic project.
It's worth mentioning that the percentage of Christians in Iraq has reduced a lot after they used to represent about 3.1% of the population.
