MB will continue their acts of sabotage: Islamic researcher

CAIRO: Muslim Brotherhood attempts to cause chaos and a state of unrest, particularly on university campuses recently, aim to block the democratic process and the political roadmap, said Islamic Researcher Hisham al-Naggar.

Naggar said in an interview with Youm7 that the Brotherhood does not want the interim government to complete its roadmap and establish democratically elected institutions, because that would provide the current regime legitimacy within Egypt and to the international community, which threatens the Brotherhood’s cause.

Naggar also said that successful democratic elections that would result in a democratic regime would effectively end any Brotherhood allegations to the contrary.

Young people are paying the price for what Brotherhood leaders are convincing them to do, he said, and as security authorities are losing patience more bloodshed will take place. This would result in the deaths of many Egyptians who are needed to help build the country and ensure its prosperity, he said.

Brotherhood leaders do not care about their youth, Naggar added. They are simply giving orders while fleeing to foreign countries like Turkey and Singapore, he said.
