CAIRO: The seizure of funds and properties of civil associations will only harm thousands of orphans, patients and the poor, spokesperson of the Nour Party Nader Bakkar said on Twitter Monday
“Only the poor will pay the price of freezing the assets of charities, especially al-Gameya al-Shariya,” Bakkar said, adding that there has been no official explanation for the decision issued a few hours ago.
Bakkar also said such a decision will only make enemies for the government, because it has not provided the poor with sufficient living standards and is now preventing others from doing that.
