AMSTERDAM: On Sunday the Union of Coptic European Organizations for Human Rights strongly condemned Tuesday’s bombing of Dakahlia security directorate which claimed 16 lives.
“The union offers condolences to the Egyptian people over the police martyrs who fell prey to the treacherous acts of the Muslim Brotherhood,” the Union’s Seretary-General Magdy Youssef said.
The Union supported the Egyptian authorities’ decision to designate the Brotherhood a “terrorist organization” and said it would help in efforts to convince European authorities to follow suit, Youssef added.
Head of the Union Medhat Qelada called on the authorities to firmly counter every Brotherhood protest and to launch a “real war” against them.
The union’s deputy head Ibrahim Habib called on the Egyptian government to sever ties with all countries that have relations with the Brotherhood.
