Dr. Shawki Allam, Egypt’s Mufti, met today with Ambassador Wafaa Bassiem, Egypt’s new Ambassador to the Vatican to discuss relationships with the Vatican in the next period.He explained that Al-Azhar is keen to spread love, resist the increasing waves of atheism, and serving humanity all over the world.
On the other hand, the Ambassador appreciated meeting with the Mufti and pointed out to the great effect of Al-Azhar in Egypt.
