Security forces in Alexandria dispersed clashes between supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood and the residents of the neighborhood of Miami.
A pro-MB march was also dispersed using tear gas, while five protestors were arrested.
The march started after the announcement of the postponement of the trial of deposed President Mohamed Morsy. Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim said the decision to postpone was due to the inability to transport him from his prison in the Borg Al-Arab to the court in Cairo because of bad weather.
Rumors spread that the postponement of Mohamed Morsy's trial was due to his refusal to be tried before Cairo Criminal Court, but the interior minister denied these reports
