Prosecution ordered further investigations by national security agency over the incidents to reveal the identities of those who incited the protests without permission as well as those carrying weapons.

Investigators claim that troops were protecting the security department but were stayed clear from the university, exercising self-restraint until armed elements fired bird shots.

Investigations also indicated that 41 suspects affiliated to Students Against the Coup movement are involved in Cairo University incidents, causing the death of one student from the Faculty of Commerce after being shot.

Prosecution will inspect on Sunday incidents’ spot and evidence.

Prosecution accused the suspects of joining a terrorist group, possessing weapons and ammunition, blocking the road, trying to attack the police establishment, resisting troops and murder. The suspects, however, denied the accusations, saying they were arrested randomly while passing by the scene where the events took place.
