The Wafd Party’s Supreme Commission will hold a meeting Tuesday to vote on the potential of an alliance with the Egyptian Social Democratic Party during the next parliamentary elections.
Head of the Wafd Party Sayed al-Badawy and Assistant Secretary Hossam al-Kholy are scheduled to attend the meeting, in addition to other members of the Supreme Commission.
The Egyptian Democratic Party’s Secretary of Public Action Mohamed Arafat said the party will discuss its participation on the anniversary of the January 25 Revolution in a meeting of the executive board that will be held on Tuesday at the party’s headquarters.
Arafat told Youm7 that most of the governorate’s secretariats may not participate in the events of January 25 as it could lead to violence.
