Former president Mohamed Morsi will attend his trial in a soundproof booth on Jan. 28, security sources told Youm7 Tuesday.
Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim met his major assistants to discuss security procedures that will be introduced in Morsi’s trial and they suggested transport him by a military plane to the court, and for him and his co-defendants to attend the trial in a soundproof booth so that they cannot interrupt the court, the sources added.
The Court of Appeal headed by Nabil Saleb will declare in days the jurisdiction in which Morsi will be tried on charges of escaping from prison, as well as spying for the Hamas Movement.
