Secretary General of Karama Party Amin Iskander said on Tuesday that the party opposes reconciliation with the Muslim Brotherhood (MB).
Iskander added to Youm7 that he does not support reconciliation with any “extremist political Islamist currents” even if the recent violences ended.
He said that security’s confrontation of the Brotherhood is not a solution by itself but that the most important thing is that this confrontation should be comprehensive from the society.
Iskander told Youm7 that the Egyptian people “authorized” confrontation with them through the events of June 30 and the January 25 Revolution.
He added that Islam in Egypt is represented by Al-Azhar only.
