Ahmed Mohamed Morsi, son of the ousted President Mohamed Morsi, said Monday on his Facebook page that the Muslim Brotherhood admitted committing mistakes, adding that many Islamist figures made statements acknowledging this.
Morsi further said large numbers of Egyptian people are against the Islamist policy regardless how they actually perform, describing it as a healthful sign in democratic societies. He argued that ignorance and bad education in Egypt are the prime cause that Egyptians accept the violence used by the government against Brotherhood members.
