During the meeting of the World Council of Churches, Bishop Krikor Augustine, Armenian Catholic Bishop, invited the Evangelical Church in Egypt to reconsider its decision to ordain women as priests.
He told, Dr. Rev. Safwat Bayadi, head of the Evangelical Communion, that women ordination is a heresy in Christianity, but Bayadi didn’t comment.
