Baha Anwar Mohammed, director of the Fatimid Egypt Center for Human Rights, denounced ruling against Egyptian activist Amr Abdullah who was sentenced to five years in prison, after he was accused of contempt of Islamic religion.
Baha said that Amr is such a well-educated young man who was an eye witness on Abul Nomros massacre in which 4 Shiite leaders were killed by the Salafis. Yet, none has been judged.
He explained that such accusations aim to terrorize religious minorities in Egypt.
