Banha prosecution hastened on Tuesday a forensic report analyzing cigarettes that were seized from the son of toppled President Mohamed Morsy and another person in their car in Obour, after which the police claimed the cigarettes contained hashish.
The prosecution hastened the police report and summoned the owner of the car and the police that had arrested Morsy and his friend.
Hisham Abdel Hamid, a spokesman for forensics, said in a press statement on Sunday that he finished analyzing blood samples belonging to Morsy and his friend and that the results were positive.
The prosecution had released both defendants after obtaining a blood sample from each and sent them to the Forensic Medical Authority for analysis.
Major General Mahmoud Mahmoud Youssry, security chief, was notified by a police patrol that Abdullah Morsy and another, who works at a company led by the Muslim Brotherhood figure Hassan Malek, had been arrested.
Investigators say that during a security patrol, policemen noticed the car stationed on the side of the road. The cigarettes were then found as the policemen inspected the car.
