Spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdel Ati, said that Egypt welcomes the decision of Saudi Arabia to declare the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group hoping that other members in the Arab Convention for the Suppression of Terrorism will follow her.
He added that Egypt is expecting from all Arab countries to stop supporting terrorism politically and financially, and to extradite fugitive terrorists.
Abdel Ati said that Egypt has distributed a brief in different languages that explains the reasons behind the decision of the Egyptian government to declare the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group and the legal background for the decision.
