The trial of the former Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood Mohamed Badie and a number of other MB leaders was postponed to April 19.
The trial began earlier on Tuesday, at the Policemen’s Institute at Tora. The MB leaders are on trial for cutting off Qaliub Road. The defendants’ relatives were allowed inside the court room to see the defendants. Journalists, however, were not allowed inside the court room due to a gag order on the court session.
Journalists waited outside for more than an hour and a half yet they were not allowed in, according to Youm7.
Shubra Criminal Court adjourned the trial session to Aril 19 to allow time for the viewing of footage related to the case, reported Youm7.
