Sources at Sahel Selim village said that a gang known for attacking the Copts has returned to impose royalties on Copts under gunpoint in Assiut.
The same gang has also stole a car of a Copt who had to pay ransom to get it back.
On the other hand, many Copts and Muslims as well were kidnapped for ransom by the same gang in Assiut.
Many people of the village have demonstrated to demand police to arrest the gang, but the police have arrested some demonstrators instead claiming they had no license to demonstrate!
