Minister of Finance Hani Qadri said on Tuesday 15/4/2014 that the government works on rebuilding confidence in the Egyptian economy through the creation of institutional infrastructure that soundly manage the country's economy.
Qadri added, in a meeting with International Monetary Fund IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde, that a new round of talks with the IMF would be scheduled after the presidential election in Egypt.
The meeting grouped Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Ashraf el-Arabi, Deputy Central Bank Governor Nedal al-Aasar, Egyptian representative on the IMF Executive Board Abel-Shakour Shaalan, and Egyptian Ambassador in Washington Mohamed Tawfik.
