The Suez public prosecutor on Thursday referred 40 members of the Muslim Brotherhood to a criminal court on charges of killing a child and inciting violence in the city.
They are also charged with terrorizing citizens and joining a terrorist group.
Violent Brotherhood clashes with security had erupted in Suez over the past months, causing deaths and injuries.
