Assiut Security Director Tarek Nasr told Al-Hayat channel on Wednesday that 20 Brotherhood students were arrested for possessing three bags of fireworks and Molotov cocktails at Al-Azhar University in Assiut.
He said the university president requested the police to intervene when the students burned a bus that takes the students to the dormitories.
Meanwhile, security forces in Fayoum dispersed Brotherhood students of Fayoum University with tear gas and prevented them from leaving campus to protest in the city.
A student named Saeed Abdel Tawab from the Faculty of Agriculture was injured by a cartridge, while a number of Brotherhood students suffered respiratory problems from the tear gas.
