Magdi Hegazy, the health ministry's undersecretary in Daqahliya, said that three policemen were injured in clashes that took place at Mansoura University between security forces and Brotherhood students.
Meanwhile, police are interrogating four students suspected of setting fire to a police van and blocking the road.
Residents of the area filmed the clashes and handed over the videos to police.
Meanwhile, the misdemeanors court on Wednesday sentenced three Mansoura University Brotherhood students to three years in prison on charges of disturbing public security and damaging property.
The students were arrested in a demonstration staged by the “Students Anti Coup” movement in February.
