Hany Khayat, lawyer, said that Copts in Assiut have been suffering from kidnappers who randomly kidnap their children for ransoms.
He added that a Coptic young man called Abanoub Youssef was kidnapped yesterday, but police advised his family to pay the ransom in order to save their son.
