Presidential candidate, Abdul Fatah al-Sisi, recited what happened between him and Khairat Shater, prominint leader of the Muslim Brotherhood who was the real prsident of Egypt at the time of Mohamed Morsy.
Shater, who’s currently in prison pending investigations in serous accusations, threatened al-Sisi by hundreds of fighters and jihadists from all over the world who were going to fight the Egyptian army in case Morsy is overthrown! However, Shater’s daughter defended her father saying he is but a brave patriot man who decided not to escape from Egypt upon the revolution of June 30.
First, her talk means that those who escaped are cowards and not patriot like many prominent leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood who did escape. He may have been patriot and not coward only when it comes to serving the terrorist group and its members.
Violence has always been the way the terrorist group used to face its opponents that the Egyptian people hated the group as well as its members. Beltagy, another prominent leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, announced violence and terrorism in Sinai would be stopped as soon as Morsy returns to power. Many people were killed and injured by the terrorist group aiming to defame Egypt and affect its reputation badly.
Shater has not escaped as he thought the revolution would never succeed and the Egyptian people won’t be able to remove them from power before 500 years. His arrogance brought his end.
