After it was completely burned and demolished by the Muslim Brotherhood group, St. Tadros Church in Minya was reconstructed and will be reopened on June 30, 2014, according to statement by the Egyptian army that's responsible for the construction work.
The first mass prayer held after the attack was celebrated on last Maundy Thursday, and was headed by Abba Arsanius, bishop of Minya, and Abba Makarius, the general bishop.
