Field Marshal Abdel Fattah al-Sisi declared president of Egypt

Former Egyptian army chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi won a landslide victory in the presidential election.

Sisi won 96 percent of votes cast, while his rival Hamdeen Sabahi won only 3.9 percent.
