Muslim Brotherhood leading figure Mohamed Ali Bishr denied that he or other leaders of the group left the country after Abdel Fattah al-Sisi won the presidential elections.
“There is a travel ban issued against me,” he said. “I am unable to attend international arbitration sessions I am asked to be present at.”
Bishr declined to comment on King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz calling on Sisi to reconcile with those who were not involved in killings.
Hamza Zawbaa of the Freedom and Justice Party said the position of the National Alliance to Support Legitimacy will not change after the result of the presidential elections.
“We do not recognize the new president or any elections that came after the coup,” he said.
