Morsy’s jailbreak trial adjourned to 28 June

Cairo Criminal Court adjourned on Sunday trial of toppled President Mohamed Morsy and other 130 suspects affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood over prison break charges to 28 June.
 
The court heard the testimonies of witnesses.
 
The suspects face charges of breaking into Egyptian prisons, smuggling inmates and killing policemen and prisoners on Wadi al-Natrun and Abu Zaabal prisons during 2011 in collaboration with elements from Hizbollah and Hamas.
 
The suspects include Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie, his deputies Khairat al-Shater, Mahmoud Ezzat and former Speaker of Parliament Saad al-Katatny, leaders Mohamed al-Beltagy, Essam al-Erian and Saad al-Husseiny, former Chief of Staff Mohamed Refaa al-Tahtawy, his deputy Assad al-Sheika, the director of Morsy’s office Ahmed Abdel Aaty and other members of the group.
