Shater’s Guidance Bureau trial adjourned to June 23

Cairo Criminal Court adjourned Wednesday the trial of Muslim Brotherhood leaders Mohamed Badie, Khairat al-Shater and 15 others on charges of killing protesters outside the guidance office to June 23.Cairo Criminal Court adjourned Wednesday the trial of Muslim Brotherhood leaders Mohamed Badie, Khairat al-Shater and 15 others on charges of killing protesters outside the guidance office to June 23.

The trial was held at the Police institute in Tora prison and will continue to hear the testimonies of the prosecution witnesses.

The defendants are charged with killing nine people and injuring 91 others in front of the Brotherhood headquarters in March 2013, joining a militant group, possessing unlicensed weapons, and conspiring to incite violence.

The last trial was on June 11 and was adjourned to continue hearing the prosecution witnesses.
