Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs will head to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday to participate in the 41st session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation meeting for Foreign Ministers.
This counts as the first official mission for Sameh Shukri, who was sworn in as the country's foreign minister on Tuesday.
The two-day conference will take place under the title of "Exploring the fields of Islamic Cooperation".
The conference's agenda is scheduled to discuss the situation in Syria, Libya, Iraq and Palestine and the status of Muslims in Myanmar, Mali and Kashmir.
