Coptic leaders denounced today's terrorist attacks in which two Egyptian police officers were killed on Monday while trying to defuse makeshift bombs planted near Cairo's presidential palace by Islamist militants close to the anniversary of the army's overthrow of an elected Islamist president.
Bishop Armia, head of the Coptic Cultural Center, Rev. Refaat Fekry, spokesperson of the Evangelical Church have sent messages of condolences to Egyptian president Abdul Fattah al-Sisi praying for peace in Egypt.
