Egyptian activists are mourning the death of April 6 Youth Movement member and graffiti artist Hisham Rizk who was found in Zeinhom morgue Wednesday after disappearing for a whole week.
Rizk was 19. According to the morgue autopsy report, the cause of death was "drowning in Nile River."
Rizk was also a member of the Youth for Justice and Freedom Movement.
Several activists raised questions online about Rizk's disappearance and his death, wondering if it was part of "an organised campaign" against activists of the January 25 Revolution.
Graduating in 2011 from high school, Rizk was studying in the Faculty of Art Education at Helwan University.
Rizk was also a cartoonist working in Yaniner (January) news website. "Yaniner news mourns its youngest member, cartoonist Hisham Rizk, whose body was found in Zeinhom morgue ... after disappearing for a whole week," said the site Wednesday.
Rizk was also a member in the Revolution Artists Union, as well the Mohamed Mahmoud Street Graffiti Union.
Rizk was buried in his hometown of Menoufiya Thursday afternoon.
