Mohamed Banhawy, police officer, had attacked two cafes owned by Copts in Alexandria and destroyed its contents claiming that beverages shouldn't be served during the day of Ramadan!
Owner of one cafe said that they had curtains to hide the old people inside in order to avoid hurting any feelings of the fasting people outside.
It's worth mentioning that Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar; Muslims worldwide observe this as a month of fasting. This annual observance is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam.
