History I

As Promised  last week this is my 1st Reading History series article that I might interrupt from time to time when urgent or unexpected events occurs that needs my attention or comments, however, I’ll try as much as possible to explain -from my point of view- errors and mistakes of the past and the terrific results that might be affecting us today and to explain this let me take a simple example terrorism in Egypt.

On the first anniversary of the June 30th.,2013 stand up of Egyptians taking back their stolen presidency sit from Morsy and Muslim Brotherhood, we saw more bombs exploding more innocent bloods and more atrocities from terrorists rising a question:
How come to have all this amount of terrorists in the Egyptian soil?
To answer this question we need to distinguish between two types of terrorists which are:
Terrorists born within terrorists’ camps and terrorism are the only type of people they got to know.
A normal person who for a reason or another committed a crime and become outlaw, fugitive from justice and law seeks refuge within terrorists for protection and becomes one of them.
In fact, this second type of terrorists mainly become outlaw, not just because he wants to be a criminal but most likely committed an act that other people practice daily, but the law is blind due to some reasons!
History tell us how justice was practiced upon the early revolution days of 1952 revolution!
This history reading is not meant to prosecute ex-presidents –R.I.P.- but just to get the lessons as we need to understand and learn!
Ex-president Nasser –R.I.P.- massacred judges, and the whole juridical system was jeopardized until 1971 new constitution liberated judges –hypothetically- as an independent authority but was it really an independent authority?
Yes, R.I.P. Nasser was a true Egyptian, he revolted on a lot of wrong doing, tried his best to secure a better living to his people the people of Egypt, and as well to the neighbors from Palestine to Syria and Sudan and Libya, but did he succeed? This is another story that needs further studies.
The Royal Egypt, under the royal family being the absolute ruler was corrupted, they gave powers to friends, loyal friends has more powers than members in the family, the royal family that for a reason or another, were in disagreement and the royal family disputes is an other historical issue to be studied.
R.I.P. Nasser tried seriously to correct this limiting the agricultural ownership lands, giving the excess to poor farmers, nationalizing royal properties, and as well successful businesses, he started an unprecedented revolution on nature building the High Dam limiting the wasted waters, generating power, and creating new horizons industrializing Egypt, and building factories that provided lots of jobs to the non-ending growing population!
In this history reading I do not judge, prosecute or condemn any one, I’m just a reader not GOD! We need to see where we failed and why before being able to correct our path, if you do not know your mistakes you might fall in to them over and over again, that was precisely meant by that Israeli Defense minister who said we do not read history! True, we did not learn, over the years we did not understand the lessons of 1952 attempt to burn Cairo and blame Jews immigration to the promised land, every and each problem was always Israeli conspiracies while they were busy building and improving their country getting international awards for innovations we were busy studding the best way to sink them in the Mediterranean sea!
Let us recap the main points in this primary lesson as I’m going to expand the study in the following weeks as promised.
1. Taking care of poor and needy people, confiscate from the rich to give the poor!
o The poor and needy class is growing!
2. Remove powerful people and give powers to regular people Sadat –R.I.P.- counter-revolution over self created centers of powers!
o Royal family powerful prince and people, was substituted with the Free Officers of the 25th. July revolution, then by many more over the years. Even Sadat, had his own people who become a real pain!
3. Freedom of judges and their independence
o Judges are still vulnerable, and precisely what Muslim Brotherhood tried to violate their independence!
In a brief and fast conclusion all what R.I.P. Nasser tried to correct, still needs correction his solutions never solved the initial problem that lead to their creation, not to forget that new ones –new problems- started taking away attention and increasing people’s suffering!
Let me mean time jump in today’s history as we write presently our history that will be taught to future generations the most recent event that affects lots of lives increases in the fuel that as people cry misery will impact in all prices transportation obviously is number one, consequently, goods’ transportation will increase therefore their selling price will jump sky hi!
Let me remind you poor needy people they do not have cars to start with but they need food controlling food prices, which means full food control not just on the prices, but to when this food was bought and for how much? DO NOT SELL FOOD BOUGHT LAST WEEK WITH TODAYS’ PRICES!!
Full control on all prices and which merchandizes are affected for how much, but another question rises here, which is more and more overheads on the government, are they able to cover up all this? Yes, if not there are lots of unemployed people wish to help and stop being unemployed!
Let me remind you no promises were broken, first ever promise was BE PATIENT for a couple of years, we are not yet couple of months!!
Till we meet again in History II next week I wish you all a happy Mubark Ramadan and may God keep blessing Egypt and Egyptians!
