My enemies say of me in malice,
“When will he die and his name perish?”
When one of them comes to see me,
he speaks falsely, while his heart gathers slander;
then he goes out and spreads it around.
All my enemies whisper together against me;
they imagine the worst for me, saying,
“A vile disease has afflicted him;
he will never get up from the place where he lies.”
Even my close friend,
someone I trusted,
one who shared my bread,
has turned against me.
But may you have mercy on me, LORD;

Due to the death of a young family member, I was not able to continue writing my articles for a while. Thus, a Coptic activist tried to spread rumors about myself. He tried to use this to claim that I had received foreign fund to establish the Christian Brotherhood group couple of years ago.
He was full of hatred and anger and started spreading false accusations that he knows they are far from truth.
I wonder how come a person who have a very good relationship with many Church leaders to talk in such language. However, I won’t answer him in similar language as I know they are trying to stop my criticism for them by such cheap accusations.
Such people only succeed to make many people believe that however Egypt has rich Christianity, very few true Christians are to be found there.
