Kelada: National Council for Human Rights promised to re-open” Mataria displaced Christians”

Medhat Kelada, head of the European Union of Coptic Organizations for Human Rights, said that the minister Mohammed Fayek, head of the national Council for Human rights had promised to re-open the case of displaced Christians in Mataria.Medhat Kelada, head of the European Union of Coptic Organizations for Human Rights, said that the minister Mohammed Fayek, head of the national Council for Human rights had promised to re-open the case of displaced Christians in Mataria.

Kelada said that Fayek was astonished to know that a customary reconciliation session ordered that Christians should be displaced after paying one million EGP and 100 camels, and to humiliate them by carrying their shrouds. 
 
He added that Fayek was even more astonished to know that Muslims have attended the customary session instead of the Christians.
