Father Bishay Isaac, agent of the Catholic church in Suez, said that one year has passed since dozens of Coptic churches were demolished and set on fire by supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood. Yet, the government has not fulfilled its promises to restore the demolished churches.
He added that many Christians have been praying for one year among the wrecks of the demolished churches.
The Church of the Good Shepherd is among the demolished churches that have been waiting for the government to restore, which losses are estimated as 4.600.000 LE.
