In his meeting today with the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb and Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, Minister of Awqaf, Pope Tawadros II said that God loves Egypt and is always protecting her.
He added that the Church and Al-Azhar are her safety valve against foreign conspiracies.
