The influx of strangers to pray at the Church of St. Mary in Aswan raised anger of the Muslim neighbors and was about to cause sectarian clashes between Muslim and Christians.
Police intervened and prevented sectarian clashes in the village of Olikat, Kom Ombo, Aswan.
