Security arrested 35 supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood on Friday during weekly protests the group organizes to condemn the incumbent authorities which ousted former Egyptian president and group leader Mohamed Morsy, the Interior Ministry said.
The forces managed to break up several protests in Cairo, Giza, Qalyubiya, Beheira, Alexandria, Fayoum, Assiut and Minya, according to the Interior Ministry’s media office.
Motorbikes, BB guns, and fire bottles were found with those arrested and seized, the statement said.
