A police officer was killed and 10 conscripts injured after due to a bomb allegedly planted by militants exploded next to their armored vehicle in South Arish road, Youm7 reported.A security source told Youm7 that the injured police conscripts have been transferred to the hospital for treatment.
Intensive security measures are taken now at the scene area and the mid-Arish road is blocked, as forces are searching for the perpetrators.
Another armed vehicle was bombed Sept. 2 in Rafah, North Sinai killing 11, and injuring two more.
