Cairo Criminal Court resumed on Monday the trial of toppled president Mohamed Morsy, along with 123 others, over prison break charges, premeditated murder of a policeman and smuggling prisoners during the 2011 revolution.
Among the detained defendants are Morsy, Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie, his deputy Mahmoud Ezzat and members of the guidance bureau including Mohamed Saad al-Katatny, Essam al-Erian, Mohamed al-Beltagy and Mohie Hamed and other members of Lebanese Hezbollah and Hamas.
